Assignment 1: Workplace Equipment Risk Assessment

You are to produce a risk assessment for the piece of equipment shown below. The equipment is a

two arm car lift that allows mechanics and technicians to examine the underneath of cars and small

vans.

The equipment is electrically operated and has two arms, both of which are adjustable to allow for

movement into different locking positions for the range of different cars that can need to be lifted.

and small vans. The SWL is 4 tons.
