Each assessment tool has its own terminology for the scores that are calculated. For example, the Beck Depression Inventory results in one score, called the Total Score. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) results in four “scales” – Extraversion vs Introversion, Sensation vs Intuition, Thinking vs Feeling, and Judgment vs Perception.
