Response to Intervention (RtI) Project

The purpose of this assignment is to obtain information about various effective research-based

intervention models used to meet the goal of response to intervention (RtI). Teachers, staff,

assessment specialists, and administrators are actively involved in and have an important role in

collecting and monitoring data, selecting interventions, monitoring progress, and making

educational decisions to address the varied individual needs of students. For this assignment, you

will be investigating various effective intervention models used in the three RtI tiers. You will be

researching information specifically identified on the assignment template. Complete

information on effective research-based interventions is required for making effective

educational decisions.

Directions

1. The Response to Intervention (RtI) Project template is below and a separate Word

document. Obtain and provide information on at least six (two in each of the three tiers)

effective research-based intervention models used to meet the goal of RtI.

2. Complete and type your information in the Response to Intervention (RtI) Project template

(Word document). Copy the template as needed.

3. Some potential sources of information regarding RtI or research-based intervention models

follow.
