Group Speculations Project Proposal Forum

We aren't doing the entire  Group Speculations Project (though you can read about it here),  but I'd still like everyone to do this component of it because it will help you to see how the works and ideas that we've gone over this semester can profitably be put into conversation with many texts from outside of our course. 

Two-Paragraph Proposal 

Paragraph 1

Identify the title, medium, and publication/release year for your proposed text. Again, you are welcome to use a literary work, a movie, a television show, a graphic novel, or video game for this assignment. Succinctly describe the gist of the text in a couple of sentences. Finally, briefly explain what makes the text unlikely or speculative.

Paragraph 2

Why do you think this text is a good fit for our course? Which keywords and previously assigned readings do you think could productively put into conversation with your proposed text. You should identify two of each (i.e. two keywords and two readings for a total of four) in your post and indicate where one might start in connecting each of the four to your proposed text. (This is just a gesture and set of suggestions that your fellow group members might have used if we to continue with the project. should your proposed text be adopted. 

Additional Instructions

· Length: Paragraph 1 should be at minimum 100 words; Paragraph 2 should be at minimum 200 words.
