For this assignment, the class will work on an outlined ethnography that includes only those  essential aspects of the culture. There is no specific number of pages. Number of pages depends  on your answers on all the items. A list of indigenous culture groups is posted in Module 1 from  which each student will choose from. Choose only one indigenous culture group for this  assignment.

The last part of this outlined ethnography is going to be a simple monograph of a special topic  chosen by the student from the life ways of the people he or she is studying. For example, if the  student chose the Inuit people for his or her AMC, the special topic should be from the Inuits like seal-hunting methods or any interesting topic from the Inuits. If the student is studying the Hopi  Indians for his or her AMC, an interesting topic could be the art of making pottery, and so on. If  the student is studying the Koreans for his or her AMC, an interesting topic could be baby- naming tradition among the Koreans.

Doing this assignment requires a thoughtful research and critical choosing of data. It is a must  that all data used are affixed with citations (in-text citations and references). You can use APA or MLA citation format.

This assignment titled, “Anthropological Monograph in a Culture” is a semester work. It begins  on January 19, 2021 that is required to be submitted no later than April 19, 2021. Submit this  AMC in the Assignments section of the D2L. AMC is an individual work. It has a 50 points value.

of the negative impacts of Modernization and globalization among the people of Assam is that it

altered the excellent culture of the inhabitants. The coming of western culture affected the

IV. ANTHROPOLOGICAL MONOGRAPH IN A CULTURE. Write a SPECIAL TOPIC from the culture group you are studying here in AMC. Three (3) paragraphs only.

Title of the Special Topic:

Assam women empowerment project

_______________________________________ Narrative of the Special Topic:

In recent years there has been increased discrimination against women in India. However, in

recent years, there has been an improvement in the issues of girl child representation. A few

decades have been observed in the precedent a solid rise in awareness of the necessity to

empower women and achieve gender equality among the Assam community. The notion of

gender parity has been gaining significance in recent years. The current document is an

inspirational adolescent girls program happening in the Assam tea society's hearts.

The rise of empowerment groups for these young girls has been developed in partnership with a

giant organization like Unicef and the Ethical Tea Partnership of the Assam community. This

empowerment group aims to empower these young Assam ladies to reach their potentials and

compete on a fairground. These groups aim to give women confidence and courage and help

address violence, marital abuse, and any exploitation.

Many women in the Assam community have been empowered to raise awareness on changing

the attitude and traditional mistreatment to the other community members. The empowerment

groups have provided a platform for women to express their issues openly and be heard[ Hazarika

and  Kalita2019]
