For my first problem this week, I had to factor

First, I write 5x as a difference

Then, factor out 2x from the expression

Factor out x+3 from the expression

When products of factors equals 0, at least one factor is 0.

First, I put my equation in quadratic formula method.

Any expression multiplies by one stays the same, so I cleaned it up a little.
