Benefits of using solar energy

One of the benefits of solar energy is the impact on the environment. Solar energy is the least negative impact on the environment in comparison to other energy sources. It does not produce greenhouse gases and hence it does not cause pollution to the water. It requires a little water so that it can be maintained unlike the use of other nuclear plants (Endrejat, et al., 2020). Most of the nuclear plants produce a lot of dangerous gasses and it causes a lot of health issues to the environment. Solar energy production another advantage is that it does not create any noise.

There is no noise in the wind production and hence it is the most preferred. This is one of the major benefits since most of the other sources produce a lot of noise. This happens so as an advantage because most of the installations are in urban areas such as domestic solar panels. wind energy another advantage is that it reduces energy bills (Endrejat, et al., 2020). Through the generation of own electricity, this means that less will be used in the payment of the electricity bills. This will immediately translate to the saving of the money that is used in the payment of the energy bill.

It is also an advantage since such electricity can be used to translate and make more money by selling the unused electricity. Through the solar panel grants that are offered, it is possible to make the green investment that is more beneficial. There is a lot of job creation through solar energy and hence the larger part is associated with the solar systems that are coming from the installations works of the panels.

Limitation of solar energy.

One of the disadvantages is that it is weather dependent. Although solar energy is still collectible in the cloudy as well as the rainy days the competence of the solar system drops. Mainly the solar panels and dependent on sunlight and because of this reason it can be affected at the time when there is no sunlight. On a few cloudy days and in the times that there are rainy days there will be an obvious effect on the energy system (Tregambi, et al., 2020). It is important to take into consideration that this type of energy cannot be collected during the night. At night there is no sun and this is the main source of energy.

During the wintertime it will also be a problem since this time there will be no energy. The other disadvantage of this type of energy is that solar energy is expensive. Solar energy is required to be used in the right way or it can be stored in long lusting batteries. These batteries are very expensive to buy and this is what makes the system very expensive. The used off batteries require to be changed and hence purchasing other batteries are going to cost high. This is a requirement so that the energy got in the daytime can be used during the night.

The cost of buying and installing the panels is high (Tregambi, et al., 2020). This will include the costs that are associated with purchasing the panels and the cost that is associated with the payment of the solar panels the inverters, batteries as well as wirings as well as installation fees. Solar technologies are constantly developing so it is safe to assume that the prices are going down in the future.
