NAME: |
|
Soil Type:
Signify the soil type of each sample using the website key (feel test – you should follow the flow chart to get a type of loamy sand, sandy loam, sand, loamy clay, etc. and list under “type.”) For slope, estimate the angle of the slope (0-90 degrees, with 0 being flat, and 90 degrees being straight up and down). For local vegetation, what is growing in the soil (ie grasses, weeds, flowers, trees, small/large bushes, or specific plants if you know their names!). For sample color, try to be descriptive: light/dark brown, black, reddish, etc…
Attach pictures if you can!
