Chose 2-3 major events in your life that were significant in terms of your socialization and analyze them sociologically.

Here are some suggestions for your writing/research:

How have macro forces and social structure influenced you at the micro level? Be specific using concrete examples and social events/occurrences. Make sure you are also engaging with terms and concepts from our course.

Who were the major players in terms of your socialization? Relate your experiences to your identity formation or how you and others came to see yourself.

How did you experience social constructs such as race, class, gender, religion etc.? When did you realize you came from a privileged or marginalized group and what did that mean for your identity and how you experienced the world?

It is imperative that you not only describe these life events, but also inform them using the sociological language and research.
