Read Chapter about social movements from your text book and then respond to the following prompt:

Using your sociological imagination, and the concepts and theories in your lesson, identify at least one social movement that has impacted your life either directly or indirectly, and describe how your life has been influenced by this movement. In your response be sure to incorporate the concepts and theories from the chapter. For example, you may want to identify the stage of the social movement at the present time, which theory of social movements best explains its rise, and how the movement has impacted your life through institutional and cultural change.
