Security architecture is an artifact that illustrates how the countermeasures are positioned in an entire system and how they relate to each other. The controls maintain the system’s attributes like privacy, honesty, and availability of products in the organization. This paper provides an overview of a social media company in its operations. It explains the goals of this organization in its security controls as well as its approaches (Poletti et al., 2018). It is in the paper that we see how the approaches can be implemented and what can be done to enhance security and ensure its effectiveness. Therefore the paper presents the project on social media companies on security architecture.

The type of business I select is a social media company where we do our social media advertising, which serves operators on social media boards. Social networks use user data to aid highly important ads grounded on relations within a certain platform. For instance, when target markets align with the consumer demographics of a social platform, social promotion can offer massive surges in alterations and sales with a lesser cost of purchase. With social media advertising, the company can have consistent sales and out from the first day the website started. Hence there are several benefits of using social media channels to advertise products and services.

In this social media company, we use the social network of Facebook for advertising. This form of advertising enables several customers to be reached virtually wherever they are. It is cheap, and there is a variety of lead magnet or bundle products. Facebook allows advance targeting either through a job description, location, interests, and other several valuable criteria. The pricing in this business relies on numerous factors, such as the targeted audience and the budget fixed for the ads. The more money spent on advertising, the more effective Facebook's algorithm becomes, thus increases the performance of the ads over a period.

The security architecture goals for this social media company are to secure against security and business dangers. The company wants to block targeted phishing attacks, preventing fraud, defending against swindles, and impersonating accounts. Another goal is securing conversions in the advertising platform between the customers and workers. Conversions objectives focus on securing action from potential consumers. These objectives are essential in protecting the sales of the company, especially if you pair them with awareness objectives to bring prospects into the funnel or other valuable actions.

The goal of security architecture is to minimize imposter accounts on social networks. This is a reason why these networks are usually verified first before carrying out any operations. Imposter accounts target the potential customers, and when a platform's connection is hacked into handing over confidential details, it incurs losses, or its reputation is ruined (Patil et al., 2018). They also want to prevent malware and attacks as they can cause harm to the social media band, thus the need to provide strong credentials passwords. This is because hackers can steal your identity, injects viruses to the systems used, and steal bank details. Social media security is vital for the success of these modern businesses.

There are several approaches to implement these goals to enhance security in the company. It can be achieved by creating social media policies that can govern the guidelines provided and ensure they are strictly adhered to and penalties applied to those who fail. The staff on Facebook advertising should be trained on social media security issues so that they can be familiar with them hence prepare possible solutions as early as possible. This early training prepares them to face difficult situations with confidence so as to solve them effectively.

Set up an early warning system that will ensure that breaches are detected in advance to prevent data loss and set up social media monitoring tools. The company should also ensure that information security systems have been enhanced so that there is limited access for unauthorized persons, and the information or personal accounts of customers are kept safe. The systems should be set up in a way that the owner of the account should give approval in order for the account to be used in a different device. Other companies in the industry have taken into consideration the need to hire more persons in the security and safety department; hence with the increase of cyber-crimes and cyber insecurity, the company should also be at the forefront to embrace this move.

To conclude, security is a vital key in any business in promoting its success. Hence countermeasures should be created to ensure this happens as social media are vulnerable to attacks from scammers and other impersonation issues. Facebook advertising is one of the effective ways of advertising products. But then it faces numerous challenges since it is a social media platform. Measures such as training the staff on security measures, creating security policies, and setting up early systems that provide warnings help to mitigate such threats and risks in any business.
