Marketing Plan: Promotion Objectives

What type if the image would you like to create for the sport product or service?

One factor that plays a significant role in promoting a product is the final image of that product or service. The product or service image needs to be worthy and desirable in the eyes of the consumer. The image of professional clubs must be entertaining and full of opportunities for a consumer to consider attending the club’s activities. With a distinct and attractive image, professional clubs can bring in new and more fans to its club activities. Additionally, a distinct image separates the professional clubs from other clubs in the industry. However, the professional clubs must work by the rules in the creation of an image without resorting to false information. As the Bible presents, “and also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules” (2 Timothy 2:5) (GodTube, 2014).

What type of advertising do you recommend for your sports product or service?

In the sports industry, several advertisement forms are applied in the process of promoting products and services. However, when promoting professional clubs, the best form of advertisement that one can use is digital advertisement. The increased access to online platforms like websites and social media channels makes it easy to reach larger audiences. Additionally, digital promotion guarantees a broad reach for the professional clubs’ fans across the nation and the world.

Are there any specific promotions you suggest for the sport product or service?

Yes, there are many specific promotions that I would suggest being applied in marketing and promoting professional clubs. For instance, professional clubs can use event promotion to ensure they advertise themselves to fans and other parties. Event promotions are one of the leading promotion activities that sports clubs use in the industry. Organizing charity events and matches are one-way professional clubs can attract more people to its activities in sports.

Finally, but perhaps most importantly, what unique aspects of your promotion objectives will influence the purchasing behavior of consumers?

One aspect that will influence consumers to get involved with the club is the perception the promotion process creates in the eyes of the consumers. Consumer perception involves the process where a customer takes in information regarding products and services and interprets it into meaningful images that can compel them positively (Clootrack, 2020). Another promotional factor that will promote engagement is the social aspects surrounding the advertisement of professional clubs. If many people accept and want to get involved with the service, then other people will likely join the others in engaging with the clubs.
