· Meeting Date: 11/03
· In the meeting with Client this week, our team presented each of our research results to the client and confirmed the direction for the badge scanner app project.
· In the week 2, I made the research about the tradeshows by industry. Me and Codi narrowed down 5 industries that we would like to focus during the project by the number of tradeshows each year. Furthermore, I made some researched about the top-rated tradeshows for these industries that we selected, so we could start to find and lock-in the target market. In the meeting, I also show the ideas of how to find the key factors of each industry for customizing the survey questions by bringing the example of food industry.

· Our team had a meeting on 11/02 which was the day before the meeting with Client. Everyone in the team showed the slides of research results to each other and mentor for the improvement. In the meeting, our mentor Dr. Tehrani helped us a lot for guiding each of us towards the correct direction.
· My part will focus on studying the customer’s buying behavior by each industry, so it will be important to find the key factors to design the survey questions for our client. Therefore, Key Driver Analysis will be the key analysis method for my part. However, I was having a hard time to understand the Key Driver Analysis because I never learned about it before. When I told Dr. Tehrani about this situation, she helped me to find the resources and sent it to me to learn about the Key Driver Analysis, and how it could be used.

· Presented each of our research results and collected the improvement advice from each other.
· In the meeting on 11/04, we discussed about our new job assignment for the next coming week.
Accomplishments/ Highlights: Got clearer about what our client is looking for by presenting the thoughts in the meeting. Finally, we all understood the needs and started to work towards the right direction. I was also able to find the key factors for food industry and generated the sample survey questions as the example.
Next week plan: Change the industry selection based on the client’s need. (Industries with higher trading amount), restart the tradeshow and key factors research for these newly selected industries. I will also continually learn about the Key Driver Analysis.
Risk: It will be harder to implement the survey questions for the industries with higher trading volume because it will be harder to find the general key factors for B2B purpose.
Challenges: I had a hard time to understand the Key Driver Analysis since I never learned about this analysis method before. I had no idea what it is, and how I could generate and utilize the Key Driver Analysis. However, Dr. Tehrani sent me a lot of resources explaining the Key Driver Analysis when I brought up my concern, so I was able to educate myself using these resources.
Limitation: Technical implementation and resources of key factors.
