Writing a SMART Goal for Your Personal Wellness Plan

Include a specific action verb and description
EX: Eat vegetables; drink water; run; walk; sleep; lift weights; listen to meditation; join Florida Web Quit
Include exact measurements (NUMBERS)
EX: Servings, hours, minutes, miles, poses, repetitions, frequency, duration, intensity, etc.
Include a time frame. “By week 5 of the semester.”

Go back to your Wellness Assessment Questionnaire. Select ONE category where you scored zeros and ones.
The SMART Goal must be a behavioral change you will commit to this semester contributing to your improved wellness.
Make sure it is specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time bound (by week 5 of the semester).
