Small farmland Conservation

Farmland conservation is very vital to sustainable agriculture. One of the areas of need for small farms is how to measure the impact of land conservation. One way we can do this is by measuring soil fertility each year.   

The student’s task is to research what other smaller agriculture projects use to show the impact of conservation agriculture?   

 

Additionally, students are to envision a small commercial organic farm and identify and develop ten or more indicators to measure impacts on the farm.
