Subject: Organizational Management

Hope for All organization will be managed using a hierarchical organizational structure. In this kind of structure, the chief executive officer (CEO) stands at the top level followed by several management levels. The top management makes all the decisions of the organization, which are then passed down through middle and lower management (Saiti & Stefou, 2020). If someone at the bottom of the organizational structure wants to make any decision, he/she passes the request through different management levels for approval.

Bureaucratic management theory is related to this organizational structure. This theory was created by Max Weber in 1905. It contained two components: 1) having well-defined rules to help govern and direct an organization and 2) structuring an organization or company into a hierarchy (Mahmood et al., 2012). Max Weber’s principles for establishing a hierarchical organizational structure include a clear separation of tasks, a chain of command, separation of organizational and personal assets, consistent and strict rules and regulations, and employee promotions based on their qualifications and performance.

A hierarchical organizational structure will play a key role in the delivery of services in Oklahoma. First, it will facilitate clear lines of reporting within the organization (Greer et al., 2018). Through clear reporting lines, all staff members will understand where to get directives and to whom to report. This will ensure effective service delivery. A hierarchical organizational structure will also establish a clear line of authority. Through this, the roles and responsibilities of every staff member in the organization will be defined properly. In other words, every staff member will know who is responsible for what within the organization. This will create accountability and eliminate confusion, facilitating effective and proper service delivery.
