The subject design study goal is to investigate her case and intervention strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment for her
It also evaluates my work as her social worker and will show how effective are the intervention strategies and its outcome. Comprehensive assessment therapy can be utilized in line with the single system in order to ensure that we get most of the information from Paula and her environs that will facilitate the process of evaluation. Paula case represent a lot of challenges that she is facing including physical illness, mental illness, social isolation, emotional trauma, pregnancy, and limited resources (Plummer, Makris & Brocksen, 2014). She is hesitant about her medications and behaves strange at times like stopping her medicines without notifying the doctor. A social worker can utilize a comprehensive assessment approach to gather the vast information that can be utilized in providing better intervention service (National Association of Social Workers, 2008). Inclusion of the patient by asking open ended questions is one of the assessment approaches that I can utilize to gather vast information about Paula and utilize the information inn the intervention practices. Psychological health and mental assessment approach can also be utilized in the Paula case in order to gather the cognitive aspects or factors that will facilitate the intervention process (Congress, 2013). Also getting vast information from the care givers or professional dealing with her will be very essential to provide her historic medical reports.
There are areas of strength in Paula case where she was able to identify her goals and started to changes her behavior for the best interest of herself and the baby. She was able to focus and utile her strengths as directed by the social worker hence being able to make wise decisions balancing ethical, legal and religious regulations in her life activities. Also she was able to be empowered to change and be able to make sound decisions that will facilitate her to balancing ethical, legal and religious regulations in her life activities (Plummer, Makris & Brocksen, 2014). Establishing what you want in life is one of the essential ways that determine the direction you are going and the strategies that you need to implement to achieve the set objectives. Proper follow up team from the social worker with their professional experience is another strength that is established in Paula case as they played a very significant role to ensuring that Paula get well as soon as possible to take of the baby and herself at large.
The perspective of the multidisciplinary team regarding the pregnancy of Paula was to ensure that the safety of the baby is first guarantees through drastic provision of intervention to Paula so that she can be in a position to take care of the baby (Cowger, 1994). Building someone strength in life is one of the fundamental ways to empowering them as you have provided them with the best they can do. Proper empowerment to Paula is one of the fundamental perspective that the social worker developed in order to ensure there is success in the process of ensuring that the clients takes good care of her self and the baby at large. Also the social team implemented the perspective of hospitalizing Paula in so that they monitor her frequently together with her baby during the intervention process (Plummer, Makris & Brocksen, 2014). I think the social worker are utilizing the single system design model in providing their assessment regarding the Paula case study as some of the information are not represented in the assessment things like social activities and environments factors (Cowger, 1994). Hospitalizing the patients is one of the strategic approaches that the social worker can utilize to ensuring that there is consistency in the follow up process and other medication activities that will facilitate or reduce the period of intervention significantly.
Single system approach was the one that was utilized in the case study as some of the information were not captured that could be so helpful; in the intervention process like the social interaction and other environmental activities among others. The strength-based approach enables one to identify their strongholds and use them to fight their weakness in life hence improving on your personality and have positive approaches to life (National Association of Social Workers, 2008). The strength-based approach enables one to identify their strongholds and use them to fight their weakness in life hence improving on your personality and have positive approaches to life (Congress, 2013). This will assist in identifying the positive aspects that Paula has that cab be utilized in the intervention process. 1 The single system design study aims to investigate her case and intervention strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment on her.

Cognitive assessment approach was also utilized in the Paula case assessment as they were able to collect some of the information regarding mental abilities (Cowger, 1994).
There is several potential biasness for choosing an assessment approach in the sense that some assessment methods only concentrate on one area hence leaving most of the information that might be relevant in ht e intervention process. The assessment method may not be inclusive leading to lack of proper expression and evaluation of the clients hence developing an intervention practice that is not effective (Congress, 2013). Like single assessment might not cover all the aspects like if Paula decides to keep the baby then ensuring the safe arrival of the baby and guaranteea secure future for the child is also an important aspect to cover. 1 Also, the efforts should be that the baby does not get HIV from Paula and comes out normal and healthy.

Also, the focus should be making sure that the baby does not attract HIV from Paula and comes out healthy
Using an inclusive and comprehensive approach is the best remedy that we can use to avoiding this biasness as the approach utilizes multiple methods hence being able to cover vast information that will facilitate the provision of intervention to the patient effectively. The training and education side of the assessment approaches will facilitate Paula to make wise decisions balancing ethical, legal and religious regulations in her life activities. Also these training can be very fundamental for the social workers too in order to ensure that they are conversant with various assessment approaches that will facilitate the process of intervention or recovery (Cowger, 1994).
