Signature Assignment Checklist

Note: This checklist does not display the full list of requirements for the Signature Assignment. This checklist is a reminder of tasks that students commonly forget to include in their papers. Please see the Signature Assignment folder for the complete set of guidelines for the Signature Assignment

· Do I have 4 concepts/theories (I recommend choosing 4 theories, because if you choose a definition and not a concept you will lose a substantial amount of points)

· Did I bold and underline my 4 theories/concepts (Only bold the name of the theory/ concept, not the entire sentence/ paragraph)

· Is my “culture shock” stated in the introductory paragraph

· Does my introductory paragraph outline what the paper will be about

· Did I incorporate my theory/concept into my example of culture shock (stating a theory and not saying how the theory applies to your culture shock moment will result in a substantial loss of points)

· Did I state what the theory/concept entails (theories are broad, the reader needs to know what aspect of the theory you are applying)

· Does my conclusion summarize the main points of the paper

· Did I cite the text book in the Bibliography/Work Cited page (MLA,APA, or Chicago Style)
