Team Size: 2-3 members ONLY
You will develop an actual case study and will develop a comprehensive SHRM analysis for an enterprise of their choice. You will research and provide an analysis of a major workplace implementation, such as role of mission, vision, values to HRM; strategic actions, strategic development techniques, HR planning, SHRM suitable to organizational culture, job analysis, organization development strategy, CSR strategy, corporate governance strategy, formulating people management strategy, HRIS strategy. You are expected to research and cover one topic with the chosen Canadian/ Global enterprise as selected by you utilizing secondary data research (peer-reviewed journals, published case-studies, company websites, google scholar - research articles, videos, newspaper/ magazine articles). Evaluate the viability of such implementation by addressing the key issues required for success. In this, you will be expected to critically analyze Strategic Human Resource Management System/sub-systems as mentioned above, identify problems, and recommend constructive improvements. The success issues should be derived from current research.
Remember not only to describe what the enterprise is doing in each of these areas, but also to analyse how well they are doing in each area, which includes looking at how the competitor might be doing. Good analysis considers both the good and the bad when looking at an enterprise.
This analysis will be presented in the form of a consultant’s report according to the sequence and points mentioned below. Latest version of APA format should be followed for report writing and references. The report should be 15 pages in length, excluding title and references page.

APA writing conventions should be followed in the project report with a minimum of five (5) sources referenced and cited with in-text citations (if you are presenting another author’s ideas in your own language you still have to provide the in-text citation of that author) and references in APA. The written submission must demonstrate objective academic analysis of the material and its application to the workplace. Title of the company cannot be your presentation title due to copyright reasons.
All submissions will be made on Moodle. Please note that assignment submissions are ONLY accepted on Moodle and NOT on email. All team members are required to make the submissions of the project report on their respective portals. Kindly rename your assignment file by your respective name before you upload. For example, if John Smith is submitting his assignment his assignment file name should be “Johnsmith”.
The SHRM project report will be graded as per rubric attached at Appendix-A on the next page. Each team will be graded from 25% as per the final deliverables on this project as follows.
