For the first short paper assignment, you are each to review a recently (within the past 3 years) published article from a peer-reviewed journal.  The journal should be one listed on the ABDC journal list (link below).  If you choose an article from a peer-reviewed journal not on the list, you must get approval first.  You will submit a PowerPoint presentation with audio embedded (no more than five minues) and a one page Word document.   The files must be in those formats only.   PDF's and other media formats will not be accepted.  You should focus on the following:

1: What is the issue/topic?

2: Why is it important?  Who cares?

3: What did the authors find in their research?

4: What did you like about the research?  What were potential flaws/shortcomings of the research?

5: Propose your research that improves/expands upon what the authors did in this study.
