Short essay assignment: In the story The Lady or the Tiger, which comes through the door, the lady, or the tiger?  Please do not finish the story, but use analysis and specific examples from the story along with your own personal knowledge/experiences to defend your answer.  

Short essays should be 4 to 5 paragraphs, and structured with an opening paragraph, a thesis statement, and a conclusion.  Quotations from the story do not need to be cited for short essays.
