1. The article discusses several examples of colleagues engaging Excel gurus to fix complex spreadsheet issues they think are easy to fix. Why do you think they concluded these issues are less complex than they really are?
2. In the article several Excel gurus confirm their knowledge tends to be a burden. Explain why they feel this way. How can you turn your Excel knowledge to your advantage to avoid, or perhaps even exploit, this "trap?"
3. Consider your Excel knowledge combined with the IT and quantitative knowledge you gained this semester. Provide a specific example of how you can leverage this combination to advance your career.
