“What is That”

My name is Doris Coleman and I’m here to introduce our artificial intelligence app that can identify objects after taking a picture. This app will be called “What is that?” This app is a helpful tool for travelers who are sightseeing. It also helps people who aren’t experts in a certain field to navigate. It also helps bargain shoppers find information about the item and best prices from all markets that have it available. This app provides users with the option to change the language. The app is a database filled with information. The information infiltrated will not only pertain locally but will have information worldwide. The information will not only pertain to the name of the object but provide its use, how-to-steps on projects, competitor prices and product knowledge.

I would like to introduce you to the new search engine from the snap of a picture and the touch of one button. This idea stemmed from lack of communication between my mom and I. My mom was raised in Central America and I was raised in Miami, closely similar but the translation is different. I can speak Spanish but when it comes to translating objects, I’m unable to do it. Also, I can’t travel around the world, so I live vicariously through pictures. Often people take pictures in front of notorious sculptures. I get no response after asking for information on the historical piece they’re standing next to. This app will reduce the cost of a tour guide. You’ll be able to read a synopsis of it and share it with your friends at your leisure. This eliminates listening to the host’s corny jokes, tuning in and out and enjoying your time at your own will.

We are experts in the field we choose to study. We don’t have the answers to everything. In life we are presented with simple challenges that seem like road blocks to some, rather than others. For example, removing a broken light bulb out of its socket may seem life threatening to an Administrative Assistant who sits behind a desk and simple as 1-2-3 to an electrician that knows the tools he needs. Nowadays most people refer to YouTube for how-to-steps. Personally, I don’t want to watch a 5-minute video on how to remove it when majority of that time I’m being convinced to subscribe. I have the option of reading about it, but what if I don’t know what pliers are. Clearly, I can ask someone, or Google it but what if I saved you all that time at the snap of a picture.
