New York and Florida state laws mandate that all individuals in the campus community are provided with affirmative steps to avoid unlawful harassment and discrimination. In an effort to maintain a safe and aware campus community, ASA College is working with EVERFI, an online training company, to provide our students with a mandatory course called Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates. This course will prepare you to identify and help eliminate harassment and discrimination in our campuses. It will raise your awareness in recognizing abusive behavior and different types of misconduct. It will also provide practical ways that you can use to help us maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment, including positive options for bystander intervention. During your Freshman Skills course, you are required to complete this mandatory training. Please note, that if you do not complete this training during the Freshman Skills course, you will be placed on hold which may affect your ability to enroll for future classes. How to Get Started You will need an EVERFI Higher Education account to access the course. Follow the steps below to register:

1. Go to https://everfi.com/login and Click on Register. 2. Under "Student/Learner", enter the Registration Code: 9fe665c0 then click

"Next" to create your EVERFI account. 3. Select your group based on the following:

a. New - If you are attending ASA college for the first time this semester. b. Continuing - If you attended ASA College prior to this term. c. Online New - If you are an online student taking ALL of your classes

online, and this is your first semester at ASA College. d. Online Continuing - If you are an online student taking ALL of your

classes online, and have attended ASA College prior to this term. e. Use your ID number to create your account and follow the instructions

to continue. Keep in mind that this training will take approximately 45 minutes to watch, but the assignment that goes with it may make the training take longer. You can work at your own pace from any computer; you can leave and return to the course at any time, and when you return, it will open to the page where you left off. However, there is a deadline for turning in the assignment through Blackboard. Here is the next part of this assignment which must be completed no later than the following week of your course. As you watch the training video, you must:
