Forms of surveillance have been present within the workplace since the industrial era

Today, the availability of monitoring technologies that are increasingly inexpensive—and

staggeringly expansive—has made it easier than ever for managers to intensively monitor

The use of technology in the workplace has recently increased. With methods of CCTV,

biometrics, cloud based access control, social media monitoring, background check

software, identity management and others, It appears to make it simpler for employers and

businesses to keep track of asset loss from both clients and employees, reduced

misbehavior, and indirectly greater performance all around. However, it is normal for

workers in these places to have emotions of stress that affect their productivity as well as

sentiments of mistrust against their bosses.

Similarly, we are accustomed to hearing about how these instruments are being

abused, such as cases where personal rights are being violated, despite the fact that their

appropriate administration really offers many advantages for both the employee and the

company
