Please upload this assignment to our Blackboard course site by the deadline. The primary purpose of this assignment is to reflect on the work we have done in this course and consolidate what we have learned.

You may have a lot to say about various course components. Feel free to write as much as desired about those items. But, I would like everyone to reflect and respond to a few basic questions before adding any additional thoughts.

Regarding grading, it is hard to get some of these questions “wrong.” That said, these points are not “free” and this essay will be graded on the depth of your work. You are being graded on your intentionality; understanding of course themes and learning outcomes; and quality of reflection. Feel free to draw from our last class discussion in your responses. Please write thoughtfully and substantively for each item.

1. What is interdisciplinary research? How does it differ from disciplinary research?

6. “Writing as a neutral researcher” was a major theme in this course. Why is it important to write in neutral voice when making arguments based on scholarly evidence?
