There are two areas in which my information needs improvement. These are recognition of the role that information technology plays in in creation of a harmless care setting for patients and also the improvement of the patients care. The second area that needs improvement is the upholding of ethical standards which directly or indirectly relate to data regulatory requirements, data security and clients confidentiality and their right to privacy. The question I have to ask the professional nurses is “what is your attitude towards incorporation of IT in nursing activities?”
