Self-Assessment: Hindrance Stressors

Hindrance stressors are the stressful demands that are perceived as hindering progress toward personal accomplishment and goal attainment. These types of stressors—including ambiguity about work role, overload of work, and hassles in the workplace—are associated with negative emotions and ultimately harm employee performance and commitment. Thus, it is helpful to understand the various hindrance stressors in our lives and how we can best cope with them.
