diagnostic
If you decide to submit this revision of your FIRST revised diagnostic essay, understand you will receive the AVERAGE of the two grades. Some of you made great improvements from your initial diagnostic to the graded, revised diagnostic. However, every time you revise a piece, you learn how to improve subsequent essays, so reworking that piece could prove beneficial, so make certain you revise holistically and don't merely focus on the comments I made on your revised diagnostic essay. Please consider extensive revisions, or don't submit this assignment. Many times students make a couple of minor changes and feel they have revised; that's not a revision.
PLEASE NOTE:
Having a dictionary/thesaurus at your disposal is helpful, but you must rely on more than those tools to make certain your work is clear, understandable, and college-level material.
The purpose of this assignment is to see how you utilize all of the instructional material regarding essay construction, organization, comma use, introduction and conclusion development, and composition. I expect the paper to reflect serious modifications from your first revisions of your diagnostic essay, and your revisions must go beyond correcting the errors I've noted on that assignment. Revise the essay using all of the skills you have reviewed or learned
THEN, present ONE document with the material in this order:
1. Your final essay
2. A copy of your original revised diagnostic paper with my comments on it
Good luck, and I look forward to reading your work!
