Directions: Write an essay that is double-spaced and typewritten on the question below. Your essays will be evaluated on both their compositional and philosophical merits. Please follow the instructions that were already given for writing philosophical essays for this course.

Drawing upon the assigned readings and the associated movie you were asked to view, do the following:

Select any article and associated movie we have read and viewed since the first essay and do all of the following with respect to it:

1. Identify and give supportive textual evidence for the central argument of the article upon which you have chosen to write.

2. Identify and give a short, but accurate, summary of the plot of the movie you have decided to discuss.

3. Explain how the movie’s theme or plot exemplifies or otherwise relates to the article whose argument you previously summarized.

4. Identify a single line of criticism regarding the article or essay you previously summarized and attempt to argue persuasively for it.
