This search was not challenging having identified a clear topic of research and the most important aspects to search in the topic. The terms, ‘no child left behind, adequate yearly progress and testing and accountability produced the greatest websites and articles while federal policy produced the least number of articles and websites. The number of websites and articles produced was dependent on the centrality of the concept on the topic in discussion. The words and phrases were combined by connecting the concepts together in a single entity. The combination of the no child left behind and accountability and testing was the most productive because of its relation to the main subject. While reading the articles generated by the terms, I managed to add two more key words, single test and proficiency guidelines. I have learnt that internet search engines are helpful in suggesting new terms that guide me to the subjects of interest. Upon the search of one term, the search engine guides me to other more related subjects.
