There are many companies that are offering multiple benefits to its employees and health insurance is one of the most common perks that an employee could get and this has become a norm for the employer in providing the health benefits for the employees and statistics state that this has become the most common thing such that people cannot even think of what it was like to work for an organization that didn’t even provided health care benefits few years ago. There are few things that constitute a medical insurance for any employee that not only benefits the employee but also the employer. An organization has wide range of options to be able to provide it to their employees and they usually tend to prefer group health benefits such as, basic health insurance, popular additional insurance and comprehensive or extended benefits. Authors state that the key aspect of providing health insurance for any employee by an organization is to protect the employees and maintain the wellness and health of the staff in an organization this would help in bring up the positive uplift the sprits among the employees while the organization hopes that the employees remain active and better at being productive during the working hours. The reason that the health care benefits are really important to the employees is that the health care insurance is highly expensive in few countries including United States, there are statistics that indicate that there is a market of 3.5 trillion USD for the health care and its expenses. It is not that things are expensive here in United States, but it is also the same case in low cost countries such as Thailand. So, people all over the world are eager to find jobs with the employers that are helping them to give a peace of mind when the employee experiences uncertainties such as illness or injuries.

The main objective of the health insurance plan is to support wellbeing of staff and all employees. In many countries, a company with many employees must subject employees to health insurance. In the USA, if a company had more than 50 workers, it must provide insurance for health to them; however, if the company has less than 50, there no rule to provide insurance.
