THE EVOLVING PERCEPTION, THE FEMALE ROLES OF PROTOGANIST IN HISTORICAL FICTION of LITERATURE for YOUNG ADULTS!
This research paper will address the evolving changes in the roles assigned to young female adults featured in many of the 18th-century literature works of modern literature which are new directives that set aim at changing the world’s view of women. Women in historical fiction , categorically were previously perceived as weak creatures both physically and emotionally, and habitually marginalized, therein this intentionally plot line subjugation launched a need for a strategy to redefine the stereotypical roles of young females in society redirected to evolve from a place of strength, courage and honor. . Female protagonists in Historical fiction who are young to pre-adolescent are presented as being weak, and thus contemporary literature aims at discouraging this fact by exhibiting young female adults as being strong to overcome the tribulations. They are able to overcome teenage experiences that predispose them to delinquent behaviors, during adolescent and exhibit their prowess in showing their worthiness to the society. It helps demonstrate the roles young adults can undertake in society although there are activities that still persecute this group.
