This project is to build a 3000 ft2 house in 12 months with a budget of $300,000. Project scope includes:

7. House floor and ceiling

2.0 Project milestones

3.0 User acceptance criteria

1. The house should be built according to drawings and specifications provided by the design team.

2. The construction should meet the city of Cambridge building codes.

3. The size of the house would be 3000 square-feet.

4. The project would not take longer than 12 months.

4.0 Project boundaries or exclusions

5.0 Project constraints

1. Project’s excavation should be finished in 7 days from the project’s start date, as the foundation labor and material would be present on site at day 8 of the project to start their work.

2. The flooring budget of the house should not exceed $10,000

3. This project contract format is Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP). Therefore, the final project’s budget, which the owner should pay, doesn’t exceed $300,000. If the project finishes with a higher cost, the contractor is responsible to pay for the overrun. If the project finishes with a lower price, the saving would be for the owner
