Overview

In this activity, you will review a Shapiro Library tutorial on evaluating websites for credibility. You will then evaluate some websites using the techniques and tools covered in the tutorial.

Instructions

1. Review the Website Evaluation Tutorial.

2. Click on the Activity tab.

A. Download and open the Module One Short Answer Guidelines and Rubric. It is recommended that you refer to this rubric as you review the various articles.

B. Click on Site #6. Select one article. In the table below, complete the column for the article, using the Source Evaluation Rubric as a guide.

C. Click on Site #3. Select one article. In the table below, complete the column for the article, using the Source Evaluation Rubric as a guide.

D. Review the article 10 Scientific Laws Every Person Should Know. In the table below, complete the column for the article, using the Source Evaluation Rubric as a guide.

3. Use your completed table to complete the questions in the rubric.
