Purpose
The purpose of this assignment is to: a) identify and evaluate issues affecting and concerning healthcare informatics in anesthesia practice in the current clinical setting, b) provide empirical evidence to support issues affecting anesthesia , and c) present ideas in a clear, succinct and scholarly manner.
Outcomes
This assignment enables the student to meet the following course objective:
Analyze individual and aggregate level information to assess the value of patient care technology for nurse anesthesia practice.
Due Date
Submit and upload the scholarly paper to the course instructor through Moodle, by Monday, 11:55 p.m. EST on January 7th, 2018, during Week 13.
Requirements
Assignment Criteria for the Paper: (15% of Total Grade for Course)
The student is to write a 10-page paper (excluding title and reference page) on health informatics. This topic must focus on a healthcare informatics concern affecting nurse anesthesia in your current clinical setting. Papers are to be double spaced, use Times Roman 12 point font, and in APA (6th ed.) format.
