So problem that requires changing is the spending of the church and who directs the spending which is the Bishop who has a final say. Please use the Kotter 8- step method for solution.
Our church has been going through a transitional phrase where we have lost members and members have been tithing less. One problems is that Bishop keeps using precious resources to do things he thinks will help the ministry to grow and has the final say on Finance even though we have CFO and Elder boards that he is suppose grow through.
Also we have some in fighting within the leadership. But our mission is to save souls and show Gods love.
We understand we are up against many social issues like TV ministries and Streaming.
Which takes bodies out of seats and money that we don’t get from offering and tithing if we here.
Resolution
Use the Kotter 8 step model to reestablish the Elder Board and for leadership to show the congregation that we are in this together, so they will solicit their friends to attend and want to join.
Resistance;
1. The BISHOP HAVING TO GO THROUGH THE Elder board to financial approval
2. The leaders tending to flocks and stop worrying about their own needs and wants.
