Subject: Necessity of Security Camera

I am writing to inform all employees of my department that the company has emphasized a necessity of installing security cameras for the safety of the employees and their belongings.

Security cameras are not only necessary in this department but everywhere else for protection. We consider you employees as our family and we hope you consider this company and the work place as your home, hence it is our duty to make the safety and security of our family a priority. In the past, I have often got complaints about misplaced belonging or even theft from the workers, so I think that this will also solve that problem. The cabins and the department supply room are laden with your and the company’s property, and the misplacement of any of these things would be considered to be the irresponsibility of me, the department head, who had the choice of installing security cameras, but did not because of no important reason.

It will also be beneficial for the employees as you can trust the company and the cabins with your belongings after the cameras have been installed. During work, the security concerns are always at the back of your mind, hence this will allow you to relax and work with more focus and efficiency. The need for effectivity has never been higher because of the current predicament of the company due to increased competition. Hence the reason and purpose of installing the security camera’s is much more than normal safety concerns. I have also been informed about several cases of work-force harassment that has oppressed many workers, but I was unable to take an action without an evidence. However, this problem will no sooner be solved, and any employees who have these complaints can bring forth their case with evidence. Establishing a professional work environment is our priority.
