COM 491 SR seminar in COM theory
1) You work for a company that has started using social media in its outreach to customers. Unfortunately, the person in charge of this division seems to know very little about social media (or media in general). Due to this, a lot of the campaigns that you have been tasked with creating have failed to reach customers, or even worse have turned customers off your product. Given you vast experience in Communication, you know that there are many things that must be considered in creating media messages as well as many different ways that media impacts human beings. If you were put in charge of the division and campaign, what advice or knowledge would you use in training others? How would you design messages?
