Part 1 Instructions:

Create a branching scenario decision tree to determine who is an essential worker in an organization. You may choose your own organization or one you have an interest in. Your work should end with a decision: essential or not. Use this slide to plan out your branching scenario.

Then click on the links or scroll in the left side slide view to insert your question and two options.

It may be hard to keep each slide straight so you can work from this slide and ctrl + click the link in each box to input your question and options.

Once you have created your branching scenario, post it to the canvas discussion board, with a brief description of the type of organization it was created for.

REMINDER: Make sure you complete Part 2 of the discussion as well.

NOTE: This slide is hidden from the slideshow, skipping slides 1 & 2 (showing 3-17).

Tips:

Instead of text boxes for options, insert > shape > rectangle was used and then linked to the correlating slide. (If this is changed, don’t forget to go thru the ppt and verify the branching is correct.)

Feel free to edit and design the layout instead of blank white slides. Master Slides was used for the background images/titles in the Module 5 example, don’t forget to refer back to it!

NOTE: This slide is hidden from the slideshow, skipping slides 1 & 2 (showing 3-17).

NOTE: Each Option boxes have already been linked to the slide it should go with

and will end on the Result/Feedback slide.

Initial Scenario and Options

Squadron Staff Personnel provide a variety of services, either to the staff they serve with or to the ships’ crews within their assigned areas of responsibility to train, assess, and equip. Much of the work is in office for some personnel. But for others, much time is spent onboard ships working with the crews helping them prepare for deployment, assessments, or train.

NOTE: For clarity, work that is conducted onboard ships will be considered “in-office”, since these events typically involve pre-coordination meetings on the same day in the office headquarters.

Option 1: Personnel perform duties in the office daily which cannot be performed remotely

Option 2: Personnel perform duties in the office that can be performed remotely a portion of the time.

Option 1 Result

Do these personnel have counterparts with whom they can share responsibilities, splitting time in the office for their current responsibilities and working on other appropriate tasking of another nature while working remotely?

Option 1.1 These personnel have responsibilities that cannot be shared or performed remotely.

Option 1.2 These personnel have counterparts with whom they share qualifications and can perform similar responsibilities.
