Format and Output for e-learning (extra credit), SAS Report and shareable file to be graded:
I. E-learning Course submission - FOR EXTRA CREDIT ONLY
If you complete all four e-learning modules for SAS Viya for Learners, you will receive a credential which
you can upload and I can verify via Credly or SAS.
If you complete less than the four modules, then verification is based on the modules with checked
boxes. You will need to screen shot and upload your profile page – shown below
II. Report Submission – MUST SUBMIT
The interactive report must be saved in PDF format.

To save a report:
1. On the Results tab in the SAS panel, click to open the report in an email message. 2. On the Report tab, select Save As file format, where file format is either HTML or PDF. The
Save As dialog box appears. 3. Specify the location where you want to save the results. In the File name box, enter a name for
your file, and then click Save.
Note: If the Save As option is not available, you are working with a SAS Visual Analytics report. Before
you can save this type of report, you must export the report to PDF. For more information, see Export a
SAS Visual Analytics Report to PDF.

To export report to PDF format: To save a SAS Visual Analytics report, you must export the report to PDF. You can create a PDF of a single report element or an entire report. The default settings of the report are set by the author when the report is created. You can change the setting when you print the report in a PDF reader.
On the Results tab in the SAS panel, click and select Export to PDF.
The Saved file will be available in your downloads and/or your folder – see chart below:
NOTE: some students may have to use the Print option to Save the file. REQUIRED: both this file and the file created in Step III below must be submitted via CANVAS. This file is the interactive report in PDF format.
III. SAS Shareable Report Submission - MUST SUBMIT To share a report file: Use the following link to create a report to share the report content. This is REQUIRED to verify that the report is interactive. Sharing a report in SAS Visual Analytics is as easy as clicking the three-dot menu button next to the save icon and selecting "Share report": Instructions on how to create a shareable text file of the SAS report created is here -

With that out of the way, here are the steps to export your report:

1. With your report open, press CTRL+ALT+B to open the diagnostics tool. It will look something like this:
2. Click "Save" and follow the prompt to save the report code as a .txt file to your computer.
3. You will upload this file via CANVAS. DO NOT
modify the file.
