Unit 4 Case Study
Read Case 9.6 “The ‘Now’ Wedding-Part A and Part B” of your textbook, and imagine that you are in charge of planning the wedding discussed in the case.
After reading the case, address the following prompts based on the case details.
1. Determine and describe the known and unknown risks that may prevent the wedding from taking place on January 21, including those listed in Part B. What are some ways that these risks will affect the wedding planning project?
2. Describe how you, as the wedding planner, will respond to these risks to ensure that the wedding will still occur on the predetermined date.
Your response should be a minimum of one page in length and formatted as an essay. Citations and references are not required; however, if outside sources are used, please adhere to APA Style when creating citations and references for this assignment. APA formatting, however, is not necessary.
Unit 5 Essay
For this essay assignment, your focus will be on the project plan that you began in Unit II. This assignment will consist of an essay that contains the following information:
· the name of the project leader (i.e., your name),
· the leadership traits that are necessary for leading the project,
· the team members and their roles in the project,
· the traits that make one a productive team member,
· a brief explanation of the eight traits associated with being a successful project manager,
· the five conditions that support the development of high-performing teams, and
· a brief description of five strategies that can be used to manage dysfunctional conflict within project teams.
Your essay should consist of at least two pages and include an introduction. You should include at least two references. One reference can be your textbook, and one reference should come from the CSU Online Library.
Unit 6 Essay
Thinking about your chosen project for this course, please respond to the prompts below.
1. Select at least two parts of your project that it would make sense to outsource. Explain why you chose these two parts.
2. Which parts of your project have the best chance of staying on schedule? Which parts are you concerned about keeping on schedule? How will you monitor the status of your project? How can you, as the project manager, ensure that the project stays on schedule?
3. In terms of your chosen project, describe the six wrap-up activities included in a project closure process.
