Our group has decided this topic because most of us really do not have any insight on any of those other topics provided. We figured that planning to build a tree house allows us to use our best expertise. With build a tree house comes a lot of different task and issues that you must deal with. We came up with a few goals that we would like to see come out of this project:

· Balancing Scope and Budget Discussion
Although we expect to stay in budget and follow our planned scope, issues arise and many times we need to make changes to adjust our scope and budget based on new tasks necessary to complete our project and deliver to our client. To balance the scope and budget of our project, we need to have a clear understanding of what is needed to complete our deliverables and have the results we desire. Any changes that are made later on in the project or the planning will definitely affect the outcome of the project. For our projects, the deliverables are five tree house designs, at least five blueprints of the tree house, weather reports, a building contract, and a fun and safe environment. Deliverables are what drive the success or failure of every project, so it is imperative that we do not miss out on the different forms they can take. Our objective is to build the tree house within 8 months to 1 year with a budget that does not exceed $50,000. In addition, we plan to start the project in March, since that is around the time of the year where springtime starts, and intend to finish the project by November. Assuming everything goes according to the plan, we will start physically building the tree house after 5 weeks (after analyzing the blueprints and layout designs). The biggest problem we may run into is lighting, as it is a very dangerous procedure. According to the task list, the project should take about 21 weeks.
· Resource Leveling
As you can see in this picture, when planning out the project the construction workers are constraint. With this issue, we have two possible solutions. One is to higher more construction workers. Two, give the resource more time. What we decided as project managers was that we can raise the cost of production if this decision increase productivity and efficiency.

· Project Status Communication
· This aspect will play a huge role in being considered a success. First and most importantly we must make sure the customer is happy. This means that we have the customer sit in on the blueprint and design phase. Which will allow the workers to accurately provide the desired results.
· All of the different resources, we must have clear and very detailed communication skills. All updates must be reported to the Supervisor. Construction workers are headed by the contractor. The electrician will also report to the contractor or supervisor. This will eliminate confusion and unwanted issues with the top-level managers.
