Summary "How Evil Is Tech?"

" How Evil is Tech?" written by David Brooks is an argumentative article about technology becoming an addiction. Firstly, the author showed the facts of technology in the past and present, tech likes an addicted thing. However, he also noted that the people in tech do not want it goes that way. He analyzed three main ideas about technology. Firstly, through the example of Jean Twenge and the number of Eight Grades are using tech, he said that tech is destroying the young. Secondly, David Brooks explained why tech addicted people. He noted that it is because of the tech companies understand how brain work and they create products to attractive users. Third, the author mentions that the big companies are controlling the market so it hard for others who trying to lead tech go in the right way. Finally, he shared some benefits of tech and tech can help the world a lot if people can handle and use it in an appropriate way.
