This outline could be more involved depending on your assignment. For example, your professor might ask for an annotated bibliography or literature review. Below you will find a sample outline for this assignment.

Note:

1. Reasons are the key points that support your thesis. In other words, reasons tell the reader why you think your thesis is correct.

2. You may not have a counter argument and rebuttal for each reason. This happens when you think your reason is so effective that you will not have much to argue. However, you should try to write these as often as you can.

· Draw the reader in with an interesting opening sentence or even a question.

· Explain the importance or significance of your topic.

· Thesis Statement

· Body: The more reasons you have, the longer your paper. If you cannot think of enough reasons, then your topic is not appropriate for this assignment. This is just an example you could have 5, 6, or more reasons.
