Action Plan

Based upon a recent survey, communication within the organization was identified as an area that needs improvement. This is an improvement plan for communication within the organization.

The following steps are to be taken to improve communication:

1. First, the organization’s mission statement will be posted in all reception areas and in all breakrooms.

2. In December, upper management will send a season’s greetings email that will include major goals for the new year.

3. Once every six months, all supervisors will conduct a two-hour meeting with the employees that report to the supervisors. The purpose of the meeting is to determine the top-priority improvement needed in the organization and how to achieve it. The suggestions will be sent to upper management.

In order to monitor this improvement plan, once every six months a survey that includes questions about communication in the organization will be sent by email to all employees. The results of the survey will be sent to upper management.

Committee

The person whowill be responsible for executing this plan will be selected by upper management. It will probably be chaired by the assistant principal.
