My interviewee, Doug Bentz, was born in San Diego. He completed his bachelor’s in digital media from the University of California, Berkeley in 1999. Mr. Bentz has always been  interested in computing and saw his future in digital media, especially around the time when computers and the internet were booming. Right after graduation, he was offered a job at Mediasmith Inc. as a media strategist. His job there was to plan, negotiate and purchase online and offline advertising space . . ..
