The course was great. I learned a lot.

I really liked the practice facilitating a group but with the instructor stepped in more when the same group members dominated.

The articles were good for the most part but some were too long.

The text book was good but I wish it had more examples and discussions specific to School Counselors.

Learner comments on course instructor:

Dr. X was really knowledgeable about group counseling but let students talk too much. I wanted to hear from her, not the other students all of the time.

I feel that the content of the course was helpful; however, received minimal feedback from the instructor so I wasn’t sure if I was doing the skills right or not.

Dr. X was helpful in some ways but didn’t really offer any extra time if we had questions beyond what was discussed in the course. It seemed like she didn’t have time to be bothered, although I did learn a lot in the course.

Everything she did was great! She is one of the best instructors at the university.
