The examples below provide samples of one “content” and one “research” exam question:
Exam 3: Organizations, Leaders, and Global Environments.
The study of leadership represents an important theme in the Organizational Behavior discipline. Pedraja-Rejas (2015) proposed that in the knowledge economy, leadership is, “a dimension of the greatest relevance to achieve strategic success or failure” (p. 654). (1) Assess five key dimensions for organizations to leverage or use to achieve strategic success in the cognitive age. One of the five must be leadership. You will determine the other four concepts for your response. (2) Include a proposal of the type, approach, or style of leadership that may be most useful in the cognitive age and an evaluation of whether any of the dimensions you assess should be considered of greater relevance than the other dimensions.

Exam 4: Research Proposal
One of the key challenges facing contemporary organizations is diversity. Globalization, technology advancement, and changing demographic profiles of the workforce contribute to a more diverse work environment complete with diversity’s challenges and potential benefits. Munyeka (2014) stated, “Diversity becomes the enemy in organizations if not properly handled and may lead to low job satisfaction levels” (p. 438). Propose a quantitative research design and method to determine whether key diversity factors relate to job satisfaction. Your proposal must include a brief (10-15 scholarly articles) literature review to build your theoretical frame. It also must include a succinct, doctoral level research methodology to answer your research question.
