This article tries to draw a connection between perception, physical attractiveness, and satisfaction with the interaction. In other words, we often perceive interactions (conversations) as pleasant, fun, worthwhile, etc. when “time flies” as we are chatting. This tends to demonstrate a bias in whether or not this rating is based on the physical characteristics of the person we are talking to—are they attractive? Or, unattractive in our perspective? Also, interesting to note is the inverse relationship that takes place over time; as time passes, ratings of attractiveness and conversational value seem to decrease
